Desktop Mode: Android 16 might offer a proper desktop windowing mode that lets users resize several windows of applications and employ a taskbar, as is already implemented in Samsung's DeX but this time integrated natively within the OS.
Battery Life Optimization: Users could limit charging to 80% with hopes to keep the long-term health of the battery. The feature has been tested already on Android 15, though, it should reach a broader roll-out with Android 16.
Better "Find My Device": Google will come out competing with Apple Network by upgrading the Find My Device feature, which also includes the extension of an array of devices and accessories connected to a wider network offline.
Performance and Resource Management : Better management of CPU and RAM. AI will play its part in giving way more priority to resources to such apps which are being accessed at the moment. It's going to improve performance to some extent on older, mid-range devices.
Advanced Customization: Android 16 would have much more advanced customization options, where the themes and lock screen widgets will be dynamic and based on user preferences for an experience that is personal to him or her.
