Xiaomi has officially announced the global rollout schedule for its latest Android 15-based operating system, HyperOS 2, which is set to bring a suite of new features and enhancements to a wide range of devices. HyperOS 2 builds upon the success of its predecessor, which debuted in 2023, and will first be available to flagship models in the Xiaomi 14 series, followed by an extended-release for other Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO devices.

The rollout begins in November 2024 with the Xiaomi 14 series, including the Xiaomi 14T Pro, Xiaomi 14T, and Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Additionally, popular models from the Redmi Note 13 lineup, such as the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G, and various POCO devices like the POCO F6 Pro will receive the update early. For tablet and wearable users, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 and Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro are also included in the initial phase.

According to a post on X (formerly Twitter), Xiaomi’s HyperOS 2 rollout will continue into December, expanding to other devices, such as the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and several models from the Xiaomi 12 series. More affordable models like the Redmi 13, Redmi Note 12 series, and POCO X5 Pro 5G will also receive the update, bringing Android 15 features to a broad audience.

HyperOS 2 aims to provide a seamless, feature-rich experience, with enhancements in system performance, design, and integration with Xiaomi’s broader ecosystem. The update offers improved multitasking capabilities and enhanced privacy controls, taking full advantage of Android 15’s latest features. Users can also expect better battery optimization, smoother animations, and a refreshed interface tailored to each device type.

The update will be rolled out gradually, ensuring a stable experience for users as Xiaomi tests and fine-tunes the software across various devices. This phased approach helps minimize potential issues, providing users with a smooth upgrade experience.

With HyperOS 2, Xiaomi solidifies its commitment to delivering cutting-edge software support, enhancing user experience across its diverse lineup. As the rollout begins, Xiaomi fans worldwide eagerly await the enhanced functionalities and performance improvements brought by the Android 15-based OS.
