India-focused crypto data and research firm PYOR has teamed up with Arbitrum to launch the pioneering initiative for educating Indian students on blockchain technology - Namaste Arbitrum. It aims at demystifying Ethereum and Arbitrum for non-technical people, targeting students at premier educational institutions.

It would comprise a set of 10 episodes that are multilingual and hands-on workshops. This will help in narrowing the knowledge gap in India in blockchain and gear up students for contributions to an important ecosystem called Web3.

Blockchain Education in Indian Universities

In addition to the online content, Namaste Arbitrum will also conduct in-person workshops with India's leading institutions, such as IIT Delhi, IIT Madras, and BITS Pilani. The workshops are hands-on, with their content on the core components of Arbitrum, the different governance models and their implementation, and how it is being put into action in the real world.

More than a chance to learn, it is a movement, according to Sharan Nair, Co-founder of PYOR.

Namaste Arbitrum is an educative initiative to involve and empower Indian students in the Web3 space, scaling up India's contributions to the blockchain ecosystem.

10-Part Series: Make Ethereum & Arbitrum Easy

A 10-episode educational series, both for beginners and advanced learners alike, will be made available in six native Indian languages, such as Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, and Telugu. The series will cover everything from Ethereum fundamentals to Arbitrum's Layer 2 scaling solutions and in-depth insights into Arbitrum One, Nova, Stylus, and BoLD.

This program also examines the governance mechanisms of Arbitrum and explains how participants can contribute to the ecosystem, all to explain how decentralized decision-making works.

Hands-on Workshops to Train the Next Generation of Developers

Taking the online content further, the initiative's workshops will be conducted across the country's top-class educational institutes so that more and more students can operate hands-on with blockchain tools and technologies. In these workshops, participants will get closer to the understanding of Arbitrum governance structures and develop contributing skills developed for the ecosystem.

Manugotsuka from the Arbitrum Domain Allocator team emphasized, "Along with the development of the project, we were able to affirm the talent in the team and confirmed it to be one of the finest projects we approved in the Domain Allocator program."

Future Indian Web3 Innovators

The mission at Namaste Arbitrum is to empower Indian students with the knowledge and expertise required to be innovators in the Web3 space. In short, while blockchain technology becomes more and more integral to the global economy, India plays a vital role in developing the same.

Emphasizing real-world applications while offering hands-on learning experiences, PYOR and Arbitrum are making India the next global leader in blockchain development. Perhaps this will be a step that affects not only the next generation of blockchain developers but also allows India to play an active role in the world's Web3, and the list goes on.
