Beats, an Apple subsidiary has announced the launch of a new line of iPhone 16 series cases. These cases will feature inbuilt MagSafe compatibility and complete support for iPhone 16's Camera Control feature. This launch represents the entry of Beats into iPhone Accessories.
The cases boast a hardshell back in polycarbonate material for its strength and flexible sidewalls that absorb shock. Inside, it is lined with a soft microfiber to cushion it from scratches. They are thin and light, thus easy to handle and use.
The cases work perfectly with the Camera Control on iPhone 16, fitted with sapphire crystal and a conductive layer that passes finger motions through to the camera system, so that one can control the setting of the camera even when the case is on.
Inside these cases, MagSafe technology makes them easily attachable to the iPhone while charging wirelessly without interruption. In-built magnets ensure perfect alignment with the iPhone 16 models.
Beats has also concentrated on sustainability in its packaging. Cases are made of 100% fiber-based packaging, sourced from recycled or responsibly sourced wood fibers.
The new Beats cases come in four colors. These are Midnight Black, Summit Stone, Riptide Blue, and Sunset Purple. These are priced at Rs. 4,900 each and can be bought directly from Apple's website.
Cases are compatible with all variants of the iPhone 16 that have gone on pre-order and start hitting the stores officially from September 20, 2024.
