The new Google Calendar update for Android devices comes up with an enhanced task management feature. The new update brings the full view of all tasks, thereby improving the functionality of the app.
Earlier, users could only view calendar dates. The new update, however, enables users to have a detailed overview of tasks and lists directly within the Google Calendar.
A new ‘Tasks’ icon is added at the top-right end of the interface, between the profile picture and the Today view. This will display details for all the tasks and will allow users to mark them complete once finished.
This update integrates Google Tasks and Calendar into one platform so that users do not need to use multiple apps for scheduling and reminder management.
The update is only available on Android for Google Workspace Individual subscribers, Workspace customers, and personal Google accounts. Nothing has been announced so far regarding its availability for iOS devices.
This mobile update follows similar upgrades that were introduced to the Google Calendar web application last year. Google strives to enable seamless productivity solutions with these updates, simplifying the process of task management and schedules.
