Typewise recently released the Typewise 3.0 AI Keyboard. Typically 3.0 is the AI keyboard app for smartphones for the next generation. To enable you to type faster and with fewer mistakes, it incorporates autocorrection, language detection, and a user-friendly "honeycomb" interface. As compared to traditional on-screen keyboards, Typewise claims to have reduced typos by up to 4x and increased typing speeds by 33%.

As a digital strategist and Typewise Co-founder David Eberle revealed to Dezeen, "While everything about the smartphone is from the 21st century, the keyboard comes from the 19th century and hasn't really changed, it wasn't made for fast typing; it was made to suit the mechanical limitations of the typewriter."

The proprietary honeycomb keyboard was introduced in the first edition of Typewise, which was released in December 2019. This layout provides larger keys without taking up any extra screen space by removing excess space.

It also allows the use of the touchscreen's swipe and hold features to enable users to quickly insert capital letters or special characters. Furthermore, the app learns from your preferences in order to provide better recommendations.

There are two characteristics that distinguish Typewise's features from that of its competitors. The first would be language recognition, which enables bilingual users to move among languages more efficiently, even within the same text. The pledge of privacy is the second. Typewise does not share any data with the developers, unlike many other keyboards that process everything you type into them.

Typewise has gained recognition at the CES 2021 Innovation Awards and the Best of Swiss App Awards 2020, and is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
