On Saturday, OpenAI, led by CEO Sam Altman, made a widely anticipated announcement, disclosing that its hugely popular AI chatbot, ChatGPT, will soon be available for Android users. This Android release comes just a few months after the successful debut of the free iOS app, which extended the power of ChatGPT to iPhones. The ChatGPT app for Android has been developed to be quite similar to its iOS counterpart. Users may effortlessly sync their chats and settings across numerous devices, allowing for smooth and ongoing contact with the AI chatbot.

Mrinal Mohit, Chief Operating Officer of Byju, has promised staff that there would be no additional layoffs at the tuition-center business, as the tech giant attempts to avoid an employee walkout. Mohit got on for a direct town hall on July 22 for the first time to soothe staff's anxieties in what was characterized as an unplanned virtual conversation by an employee who spoke on the condition of anonymity. Mohit's town hall arrived at a time when Byju's Tuition Centre's marketing department of roughly 300 people had been laid off. Employees have not been given bonuses in months and have not been evaluated since March. Workers had threatened to strike on July 25 for these reasons.
