According to The Wall Street Journal, Meta is ready to announce a generative AI chatbot intended for younger users, dubbed "Gen AI Personas" internally. They are expected to be released during the company's Meta Connect event, which begins on Wednesday and will include numerous "personas" aimed at engaging youthful users with more colorful behavior, following ChatGPT's surge over the last year as one of the fastest-growing apps ever. Meta chatbot personalities, which are similar but more broadly targeted, have been trialed on Instagram.

Upbit, a South Korean cryptocurrency exchange, has resumed Aptos (APT) deposits and withdrawals after resolving an issue in which a bogus APT token was mistakenly identified as the genuine article. Upbit abruptly terminated Aptos token services on September 24 after detecting an "abnormal deposit attempt," prompting an examination of the wallet system. The issue appears to have sprung from a freshly produced bogus APT token called "ClaimAPTGift.com," which made its way into 400,000 Aptos wallets after being launched on September 21.
