As the government works to establish Hong Kong as a leading global cryptocurrency center, local cryptocurrency businesses HashKey Group and OSL have won regulatory authorization to run the city's first licensed exchanges for retail investors. The Securities Futures Commission (SFC) has already granted HashKey and OSL the exclusive right to offer certain trading services in digital assets to accredited investors. They both declared on Thursday that their current licenses had been updated so they could now provide their services to retail investors.
