OpenAI has been notified by the Garante, the Italian data protection regulator, that ChatGPT, their AI-powered chatbot, violates data protection laws in Italy. According to the authority, OpenAI's gathering of user data through ChatGPT is illegal under the nation's privacy laws. This is in response to the authority's March 2018 probe launch. The nation's privacy watchdog has evaluated AI systems' adherence to EU data protection regulations.

Research found that 81% of recruiting managers in India believe text-based resumes will become outdated over the next five years. Almost half of the resumes that hiring managers get are either overly lengthy or include excessive amounts of language, which worries them. According to a poll conducted by the visual communication platform Canva, the majority of job applicants (67 percent) have updated the language on their resumes but have not addressed the need for visual features, despite what hiring managers demand.
