The University of Cambridge recently conducted a study in the field of clinical medicines that highlights the performance of ChatGPT-4, and Dr Arun Thirunavukarasu organized these researchers. The test included about 87 queries, and ChatGPT-4 scored 86% higher than junior doctors and other competitors involving OpenAI's ChatGPT-3.5, Meta Platforms. This study highlights the impact of AI in the ophthalmology field. The inclusion of AI improves the workflows and services of medicinal professionals.  However, challenges remain in the healthcare system, necessitating the integration of AI for better quality healthcare access for patients.

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has been refused the right to hire interns as teachers, as the Employment and Labour Relations Court (ELRC) proposed that the commission cannot employ qualified and registered teachers. The rule, which came as a drawback to TSC, halted the recruitment of 60,000 interns to fill a teacher role shortage in 2023. The reopening of schools in two weeks could potentially weaken the sector. The TSC's next course of action remains unclear.
