I Am Mother

I Am Mother is a 2019 Netflix-based mystery and thriller sci-fi film completely based on a maternal robot that raised a teenage girl to repopulate the Earth in the wake of humanity's extinction. The plot of this robot-centric film is placed in the dystopian future with psychological paradox and has received 6.7 stars on IMDb. It is directed by Grant Sputore and written by Michael Lloyd Green who created a slow and tense robotic film about how AI should be loved and feared simultaneously.

I, Robot

I, Robot is another popular sci-fi film based on highly intelligent robots in public service positions in the dystopian world of 2035. The robots work under three rules to keep humans safe for the welfare of society. The film showed the prominent presence of VIKI (Virtual Interactive Kinetic Intelligence) and several NS-5 robots. The plot depicts a thriller journey of a robot-hatred cop who is investigating a crime scene where the potential murderer can be an NS-5 robot but it leads to a larger threat to humanity with action sequences between humans and robots. IMDb has given a score of 7.1 stars out of 10.
