Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Launch Date and Specs Revealed

Samsung is preparing to introduce the Galaxy S24, its upcoming flagship smartphone series, in January 2024. Three models the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy S24 Plus, and the Galaxy S24 Ultra will make up the Galaxy series of S24. Significant improvements over the previous generation are anticipated with the Samsung Galaxy S24 series, including 200MP cameras, titanium frames, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processors. Date of Launch

Several reports state that the Galaxy S24 series will go on sale on January 17, 2024 and that same-day pre-orders will be accepted. Beginning on January 26, shipments will take place, followed by an open sale on January 30. As verified by the FCC, BIS, and NBTC certifications, the Galaxy S24 series will be released in multiple markets, including the US, India, and Thailand.

Specifications

The screen sizes, resolutions, CPUs, and RAM of the Galaxy S24 series will vary. The Exynos 2400 CPU, 8GB of RAM, and a 6.2-inch FHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz are all expected to be found in the Galaxy S24. The specifications of the Galaxy S24 Plus include a 6.7-inch QHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, and 12GB of RAM. The Galaxy S24 Ultra will sport a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, a 6.8-inch WQHD+ display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and up to 24GB of RAM.

Additionally, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and up to 1TB of internal storage will be available with the Galaxy S24 series. The frames of the other two models will be made of aluminium, but the Galaxy S24 Ultra will have a titanium one. Android 14 with One UI on top will power the Galaxy S24 line of smartphones. Especially the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which will have a 200MP primary wide-angle sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 50MP telephoto sensor with 5x optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom, will offer outstanding cameras. Three different types of sensors are planned for the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus: a 12MP ultra-wide, a 10MP telephoto, and a 50MP wide-angle sensor. There will be a 12MP selfie camera on all three versions.

Large batteries with lightning-fast charging will be featured in the Galaxy S24 series. A 4,000mAh battery will be included with the Galaxy S24, a 4,900mAh battery with the Galaxy S24 Plus, and a 5,000mAh battery with the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Wireless PowerShare and wireless charging will also be available. Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ultra Wide Band will all be supported. The OnePlus 11 and the iPhone 14 will be rivaled by the strong and expensive Galaxy S24 series of smartphones.
