The new addition to Realme model 12X 5G has been unveiled in India. Realme 12X 5G promises to redefine the mid-range segment with its cutting-edge features and competitive pricing. The introduction of Realme 12X 5G model stands out with its advanced MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G chipset, ensuring blazing-fast connectivity and efficient performance.
Realme 12X 5G comes with 5,000 mAh battery and SuperVOOC fast charging. The dual camera setup sports innovative features like Air Gestures, Dynamic Button, and Mini Capsule 2.0. These innovative features enhance the user experience. The smartphone is available in three RAM storage options and two color options. Earlier in March, Realme 12X 5G was launched in China.
The Realme 12X 5G boasts a 6.72-inch Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering an immersive visual experience with 950 nits of peak brightness level. The dual rear camera configuration with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro shooter and the front camera with an 8-megapixel sensor captures stunning images with remarkable clarity making it perfect for photography. The phone's IP54 rating for dust and water resistance adds an extra layer of durability
Equipped with Dynamic Button, the feature is also available in the previous Realme model 12 5G. This functionality can be used as a shortcut button to switch between functions such as Airplane and DND, as well as to control the camera shutter, flashlight, and other features. The handset also supports Air Gestures, a feature found on the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G that allows users to interact without touching the screen. It also includes a Mini Capsule 2.0 feature, which displays users' calls, charging status, and other important alerts through an animation around the hole-punch cutout on the display.
The 5000 mAh battery of Realme 12X 5G supports 45W wired SuperVOOC charging. The phone includes functions such as dual stereo speakers, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone is available in three storage variants including 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB. The 4GB + 128GB variant is available for Rs. 11,999, 6GB + 128GB for Rs 13,499, and 8GB + 128GB for Rs 14,999. One can purchase the phone through Flipkart and Realme website. Although Realme has not confirmed the date of sale but has announced that Realme 12X 5G will be available for sale from 6 pm – 8 pm on April 2.
The device's affordability is a strategic move by Realme to capture a significant share of the 5G-ready smartphone market in India.
