Microsoft has added a brand-new feature called "Bing Image Creator" to the most recent preview of Bing and Edge that allows users to create images from written descriptions by using an improved OpenAI's DALL-E model.
Through Bing chat, Microsoft announces Bing Image Creator to Bing Preview users as well as the global English availability of the feature in Microsoft Edge for desktop and mobile users.
The business also said that it intends to add Picture Maker to Edge through the new Bing button in conversation mode in the browser's beta version. Users of Image Creator can generate images from their descriptions, add extra context, like location or activity, and choose an art form.
As detailed in a Microsoft blog post, it works as a creative partner for users, enabling them to develop images for various objectives, such as a newsletter for friends or inspiration for home design, by just entering suggestions like 'create an image' or 'draw an image' in chat.
Bing will launch two more search features in addition to the aforementioned picture generator: Visual Storytelling and Knowledge Cards 2.0. To satisfy the rising demand for better visual search experiences, Microsoft is making these features available to all Bing users.
An AI-powered infographic-like display called Knowledge Cards 2.0 gives consumers intriguing facts and important information in an immediate, readily understandable manner. The upgrade features dynamic, interactive material including timelines, graphs, charts, and visual storytelling.
