Meta Releases New Tools For Content Creators to Accelerate Business Growth

Sayantani Sanyal

Meta is focused on building advanced products related to disruptive technologies like artificial intelligence and machine learning. Recently, the company released its latest tool for its range of social media platforms for content creators. Creators will soon be able to make their own digital collectibles on Instagram and sell them to fans, both on and off Instagram. They will have an end-to-end toolkit to create, showcase, and sell digital collectibles.

The company stated that currently the teams are focused on testing these new features with a small group of creators in the US first, and hopes to expand these features to more countries. The company also expects to expand the different types of digital collectibles that they can showcase on Instagram to include videos and add support for the Solana blockchain and Phantom wallet, in addition to the blockchains and wallets that the company already supports. These features are aimed to help content creators earn more money via Instagram.

Besides this new feature, Meta has been focused on rolling out more features for users to make money on its social applications as it competes for talent with Tiktok and others, at a time when the trend about influencers is on the rise. Meta is also expanding user access to subscriptions on Instagram to all eligible creators in the US so that more creators can earn predictable income and enable users to connect in a more immersive way. Meta is also introducing a new feature that will enable people to discover Stars on Facebook by automatically enabling Stars on public creator content.
