Elon might just be dodging his plans to buy Twitter by creating a commotion in the industry

Elon Musk, one of the most controversial tech personalities in the world proposed to buy one of the most influential social media platforms in the world, Twitter, and turned the tech world upside down! Musk offered to buy Twitter because he wished to relax content restrictions to eradicate fake accounts. He emphasized promoting 'free speech' and demolishing the rule of harmful bots on the platform. But recently, Elon threatened to walk away from his US$44 billion Twitter bid, indicating that his latest plans to mend his social media platform have really started to go astray.

Legal representatives of Elon Musk have made the threat in a letter to the Twitter board accusing the company of not properly disclosing the correct information about 'spam bot' accounts. These bots have a bad reputation for jeopardizing the privacy of the users. Bots are automated accounts created by third-party vendors using Twitter's public API. Bots can do the same actions as humans, like sending out tweets and following and retweeting other people's posts. But there are several other bots that are programmed to spam. Spam bots utilize their abilities to potentially harm the users and conduct malicious activities. However, Twitter permits these bots, based on the company's policy.

Now Musk's legal team has accused Twitter of refusing to comply with the obligations under their merger agreement, which is causing further suspicion and speculations on Elon's part. Since the beginning of the deal, there have been several speculations regarding how Twitter will perform under the supervision of Elon Musk, but now it seems like he is just making excuses to avoid buying Twitter at all, according to certain experts.

Tech experts believe that Musk cannot unilaterally place the deal on hold, although this has not stopped him from acting the way he is right now. Nonetheless, only time will say how efficiently Elon will act based on the current speculations in the market.
