Mocking with a meme, withdrawing from the US$44 billion deal, Elon hits Twitter in his own ways

Elon Musk, yet again, has created a storm on social media platforms by withdrawing his US$44 billion Twitter acquisition deal. The microblogging site is furious and has informed the Securities and Exchange Commission about Elon and his withdrawals for spam bots issues. After abandoning millions of dollars, Elon Musk has posted a meme on Twitter regarding the whole Twitter lawsuit situation.

The Twitter meme showed Elon Musk laughing saying, "They said I couldn't buy Twitter. Then they wouldn't disclose bot info. Now they want to force me to buy Twitter in court. Now they have to disclose bot info in court." The meme is similar to the popular meme of WWE boss Vince McMahon. There is another image of actor Chuck Norris, playing chess with a caption mentioning "Chuckmate".

Elon Musk was known for bringing up the spam bots issue in May 2022 for the need for evidence, based on calculations of Twitter on the number of fake accounts and spam. Meanwhile, Twitter provided Elon with large amounts of internal data or firehose to deal with spambots and fake accounts. But after deciding to withdraw from the Twitter acquisition deal, he indirectly took a dig at the microblogging site. Twitter has decided to prepare a lawsuit against the CEO of SpaceX and Tesla after he filed a document to terminate his US$44 billion acquisition deal.

Elon took a jibe at Twitter with his allegations that the microblogging site has not completely gotten rid of spam bots as per the discussions. In May, Twitter shared with the world how the company has started detecting and fighting spam bots. But Elon needs more disclosure of information about spam bots as well as fake accounts.

But Elon sharing a meme on Twitter has cost the microblogging site a drop in its market share of about 5% to US$34.85 over the withdrawal and filing. As per the contract between Elon and Twitter, he has to pay a US$1 billion breakup fee if there is an incompletion of the acquisition deal. The break-up fee will not be applicable if Elon Musk decides to terminate on his own in the future.

Elon Musk has finally dropped his bid with a meme, also his specialization in the cryptocurrency market. He considers that the microblogging site still consists of a higher number of spam bots, more than 5%. His critics are suspecting that mentioning spam bots is only an excuse to withdraw from the US$44 billion Twitter acquisition deal.
