FN MathLogic is an analytics-based consulting company with qualified and experienced professionals providing analytics-based consulting across select business verticals. The founding members of the company have a global experience of over 10 years in providing analytical solutions and services. MathLogic's only mission is to provide clients with insights that can help them grow profitably creating a sustainable value. Anurag Verma is the Founder and CEO of FN MathLogic. He has nearly 25years of experience in the analytics and consulting industry. Before starting MathLogic, he has worked for numerous multinational companies such as Accenture, PriceWaterhouseCooper, American Express, and Genpact across geographies. At MathLogic, Anurag is the key decision-maker along with the Co-founder Manu Chandra. As required in a small set-up, he often plays diverse roles being a CTO, recruiter, solution architect, and delivery manager. He holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from IIM, Kolkata, and a Bachelor's degree from IIT, Kanpur.
Anurag with great expertise in selling and delivering solutions had opportunities to set up analytics delivery teams from scratch. He was responsible for revenue and sales across America, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Australia. His hands-on evolving tools and techniques in the field of data science helped him in the industry to a great extent. In this industry, he believes one way to earn the respect of people in the organizations is to help them grow technically.
MathLogic constantly looks for innovations and breakthroughs. As an organization, the company has a culture to scout around innovative services that could benefit potential customers. It spends nearly 25-30% of its time on internal research projects that are not directly connected to immediate revenue opportunities. It is a constant process of sifting through news items and headlines evaluating potential applications. Every 6-12months, the company makes it a point to reflect on its research efforts thereby deciding it for the next 6-12months. Then again back to the grind of sifting through news headlines and creating lists of internal research projects. The robust internship program of MathLogic takes the help of young minds in taking some of these research projects to a conclusion.
Artificial intelligence, open-source software, and cloud computing have a huge impact on the innovations and the way MathLogic works. These technologies benefit the organizations along with pay-per-use options of the cloud provider in managing costs to a great extent. They can also reduce the human resource requirement for repetitive and programmable tasks, providing time for innovation. The company leverages open-source software in a big way for delivering the products and services. Since what is considered, innovative today is likely to become common shortly, there is always the race for the next cycle of innovation in the market.
Initially, MathLogic has faced the usual challenges of customer's not recognizing the brand, financial crisis, and employee attrition were foremost. Like other start-ups, MathLogic also sacrificed profits and has been a supplier of analytical resources wanting to scale up fast. The company focused more on areas that could add value. Needless to say, the company was not always right and has corrected it several times. In the process making people understand how MathLogic could be a niche service provider was one of the great challenges. To date, the company does not set any revenue target for itself.
As a 10years old setup, MathLogic is very nimble and can pivot quickly. The company is gearing up for exciting products collaborating with industry veterans and academia to develop niche products and services. Anurag with an optimistic outlook believes that the future belongs to entities who are capable of managing the pace and adopting it quickly.
