Microsoft is the first technology company to launch a nationwide program for IT professionals in India to help them prepare for the future of work. Microsoft launches Future-Ready Champions of Code for Indian Developers. This is a program that is designed to help developers in India build the skills required for the future of work and to get ready for the oncoming digital revolution by learning how to code and develop software.
Microsoft has already started running these programs in Bangalore where they have trained more than 500 IT professionals so far. The program will be run in collaboration with Microsoft's partners, including Dataquest, Simplilearn, Udacity, NIIT, and Wipro. It will be offered across India at various locations including Bengaluru, Kolkata, New Delhi, and Mumbai. The program will be delivered through a series of workshops, training, and certification programs that will be offered across India. It also provides access to Microsoft's latest technologies and tools like Windows 10, Office 365 ProPlus, Azure Cloud services, etc., as well as training on open-source languages like Python and C#.
Digital transformation is made possible by Microsoft (Nasdaq "MSFT" @microsoft), which supports the age of the intelligent cloud and intelligent edge. Its goal is to enable every organization on the earth to do more. In 1990, Microsoft established its operations in India. Currently, Microsoft entities in India employ more than 20,000 people across 11 Indian cities, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, New Delhi, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Noida, and Pune. These employees work in sales and marketing, research and development, and customer service and support. Microsoft provides local data centers with access to its global cloud services to speed up the digital transformation of Indian start-ups, corporations, and governmental agencies.
Microsoft aims to empower Indian developers with the skills necessary to be successful in the future workplace in areas of artificial intelligence, machine learning, blockchain, and data science that are needed for the future.
It also provides access to Microsoft's latest technologies and tools like Windows 10, Office 365 ProPlus, Azure Cloud services, etc., as well as training on open-source languages like Python and C#.
Developers will have access to resources as part of the program to study, practice, obtain new Microsoft cloud certifications, or renew existing ones. By equipping developers with internationally recognized and industry-endorsed competencies and skills in digital and cloud enterprises, these certifications give developers a competitive advantage in the job market.
The initiative also gives developers the chance to take part in a national hackathon to innovate for India's progress with an emphasis on green or sustainable software, smart cities, and industry innovation. Developers can also take part in a competition and share their insights on how Azure services like Data, AI/ML, CloudNative, Cognitive, IoT, DevOps, and other services are assisting them in quickly and effectively developing safe and scalable apps.
A Microsoft Certification is an internationally recognized indicator of practical skills. It has been demonstrated that IT professionals who earn a relevant, role-based technical certification outperform their non-certified counterparts on average by 26%. So, upskill yourself by earning a Microsoft Cloud Certification, and you may attend the Microsoft Future Ready Technology Summit on January 5, 2023, where some of the most cutting-edge innovations will be demonstrated.
If they successfully renew or finish their certification, developers will attend a massive developer-focused event in Bangalore in January 2023 in addition to honing their skills. The top three hackathon winners will also have the chance to show off their creations to influential Microsoft executives.
