Netflix and Amazon offer up to Rs 7 crore to generative AI experts

Netflix and Amazon are looking to employ professionals in AI technology comparable to ChatGPT and are willing to pay up to Rs 7 crore per year. While AI has resulted in job losses for many, people with skills in this industry have a better chance of landing well-paying professions. If they are talented enough, they may make up to US$900,000 per year, which is around Rs 7 crore per year. For the time being, AI-based jobs are only available in the United States.

On its website, Netflix has posted a job listing for a machine-learning platform product manager. This function entails developing the Machine Learning Platform's strategic direction and measuring its success. The work, which may be done from a California office or remotely on the West Coast, pays between US$300,000 and US$900,000 per year and does not require a college degree.

Amazon is also actively looking for talented people in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). To that end, they recently offered a position for a senior manager specialising in applied science and generative AI.

The position is not only academically stimulating, but it is also financially lucrative. While the basic pay provided might reach US$340,300 per year, it's vital to remember that this amount does not include any potential incentives, which could boost the entire compensation package.

AI has grown increasingly important in a variety of businesses, resulting in a growing demand for AI professionals. Netflix and Amazon pay applicants salaries that rank them in the top 1% of incomes in the United States. Other corporations are following suit, with Walmart offering up to US$288,000 per year for a director of retail media AI and Google ready to pay up to US$351,000 per year for an AI-related legal specialist.

Even non-tech firms, such as the online dating service Hinge, are looking for AI skills. Match Group, Hinge's parent business, is looking for a vice president of AI with a salary of up to US$398,000 per year. Upwork is also looking for a remote vice president of AI and machine learning, with a starting salary of up to US$437,000 per year.
