Elon Musk declared that to introduce a new AI platform called TruthGPT to rival Microsoft

Elon Musk revealed his plans to develop an artificial intelligence system called "TruthGPT," which will endeavor to discover the fundamental truths about the universe, in an interview with Tucker Carlson that was broadcast on Fox News Channel.

"Because it would be less likely to cause human destruction, he expressed his belief that "TruthGPT" could be a viable solution for ensuring safety in the field of AI." It's simply a late start. However, I will attempt to develop a third choice," Musk stated.

Musk has been hiring AI researchers from Alphabet Inc., Google's parent company, for his startup, which will compete with OpenAI, according to a recent Reuters report.

According to a recent state filing, Musk registered a new Nevada corporation called X.AI Corp. The documentation records Musk as the only director and Jared Birchall, the managing director of Musk's family office, as the secretary.

Regardless of Musk and a consortium of artificial intelligence specialists and industry executives pushing for a six-month ban on the improvement of systems with more capabilities than OpenAI's as of late delivered GPT-4, the foundation of X.AI Corp continued as expected. The group referred to the potential risks to society as the reason for the interruption.

According to excerpts from the interview with Carlson, Musk reiterated his concerns regarding the hazards of AI, stating that it poses a greater threat than issues such as substandard vehicle production maintenance and poorly executed aircraft design or production.

He featured the capacity of a hyper-genius simulated intelligence to compose outstandingly well and possibly apply impact over popular conclusions. In addition, he disclosed in a tweet over the weekend that he had met with former US President Barack Obama while he was in office and had suggested that the government develop AI regulation policies.

In 2015, Musk was one of the co-founders of OpenAI, yet he left his position on the organization's board in 2018. He stated in a 2019 tweet that he left OpenAI to focus on his other businesses, Tesla and SpaceX, first, and that his decision to leave OpenAI was also influenced by the fact that Tesla and OpenAI were competing for the same talent pool and that he disagreed with some of the OpenAI team's goals.

Microsoft Corp. announced a multi-billion-dollar investment in OpenAI at the beginning of the year, further the rivalry with Google and the competition for AI funding in Silicon Valley.
