Elon Musk-owned SpaceX Starlink internet services have taken off on the new JSX Jet

The first JSX plane, a private airline firm, has taken off, according to a statement from Elon Musk-owned SpaceX. The news was announced by SpaceX on the microblogging website Twitter. This week, the first @flyjsx plane began offering passengers high-speed, low-latency internet access while in the air"!

It continued, "Starlink will be deployed on additional @flyjsx planes in the coming weeks, so the internet works as soon as you walk on your trip." With the formal launch of Starlink Aviation next year, SpaceX stated in October that its satellite internet service will soon be accessible on a few different airplanes. Starlink Aviation was able to provide a 100Mbps Internet connection onboard during a test trip in September. The test was carried out by JSX, which declared in April that it will be one of the first airlines to use the in-flight Internet service, on a route between Burbank and San Jose, California.

The ideal applications for this technology are in distant, isolated locations with weak or nonexistent internet access. As of September 2022, Starlink had over 3,000 mass-produced, small satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO) that communicated with specialized ground transceivers. There will be a total of around 12,000 satellites deployed, with a subsequent possible increase to 42,000.

Several people responded to SpaceX's tweet. Some folks gushed about how much they loved having access to Netflix. Some people praised Elon and said they had been waiting for this collaboration to happen and that they were glad it had at last done so with a dependable internet connection.
