  • Drive operational excellence that supports cross-functional partners and ensure the smooth running of weekly, monthly, and quarterly business rhythms
  • Develop compelling analyses to execute data-informed initiatives that help improve our support channels, productivity, and quality at scale
  • Focus on process and continuous improvement of core metrics through automation and process enhancement
  • Act as a thought leader for data-informed initiatives and guide the team's direction overall

Minimum Qualification:

  • BA/BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or a related field)
  • 5+ years of work experience in Business Analytics, Sales Analytics, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, and/or Strategy consulting, or 3+ years experience with MBA/Master's degree
  • Demonstrated problem-solving experience with experience providing actionable business insights and recommendations data and fact-based
  • Demonstrated experience in storytelling with data
  • Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders and partners
  • 5+ years of SQL experience (creating and updating queries)
  • 5+ years experience of initiating and driving projects to completion
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or packages in R/Python
  • Experience with reporting systems and data pipeline architecture
  • Communication experience in articulating issues to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualification

  • Graduate degree in an analytical field

2. Role: WhatsApp Reporting and Analytics Manager, Customer Operations

Location: California

Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a team that provides scalable reporting and analytics solutions for Customer Operations
  • Responsible for operational cadences like holistic monitoring of day-to-day operational performance and ownership of data architecture
  • Enable operations teams to rapidly identify key business drivers and trends
  • Build early warning systems to aid in the detection of problems
  • Establish team goals and work with direct reports to execute, measure progress, and share results
  • Facilitate data-driven and informed decision making and prioritization across operations

Minimum Qualification

  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience using SQL or another querying language
  • Experience analyzing and deriving meaning from unstructured data sets
  • Experience with visualization software (Tableau, Pentaho, etc.)
  • 5+ years of experience in solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches or equivalent

  • Strong analytical background with experience leveraging consumer and market insights to influence operations at scale and improve user experience

3. Role: Data Scientist, Product

Location: California

Responsibilities:

  • Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis, data mining, and the presentation of data to see beyond the numbers and understand how our users interact with both our consumer and business products.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to solve problems and identify trends and opportunities.
  • Inform, influence, support and execute our product decisions and product launches.
  • The Data Scientist Analytics role has worked across the following four areas:
  • Product Operations: Forecasting and setting product team goals, designing and evaluating experiments, monitoring key product metrics, understanding root causes of changes in metrics, building and analyzing dashboards and reports, building key data sets to empower operational and exploratory analysis, and evaluating and defining metrics.
  • Exploratory Analysis: Proposing what to build in the next roadmap, understanding ecosystems, user behaviors, and long-term trends, identifying new levers to help move key metrics and building models of user behaviors for analysis or to power production systems.
  • Product Leadership: Influencing product teams through presentation of data-based recommendations, communicating the state of business, experiment results, etc. to product teams, and spreading best practices to analytics and product teams.
  • Data Infrastructure: working in Hadoop and Hive primarily, sometimes MySQL, Oracle, and Vertica, and automating analyses and authoring pipelines via SQL and Python-based ETL framework.

Minimum Qualification:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Math, Physics, Engineering, Statistics or other technical fields.
  • 2+ years experience doing quantitative analysis within a large-scale company or fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in SQL or other programming languages.
  • Development experience in any scripting language (PHP, Python, Perl, etc.).
  • Experience communicating the results of analyses with product and leadership teams to influence the strategy of the product.
  • Knowledge of statistics (e.g. hypothesis testing, regressions).
  • Experience manipulating data sets through statistical software (e.g. R, SAS) or other methods.

Preferred Qualification

  • Masters or other advanced degrees.
  • Experience with distributed computing (Hive/Hadoop).
  • Experience working within the tech sector.
