Mikhail Mishustin, the prime minister of Russia, has ordered the nation's financial watchdogs and other pertinent state agencies to "create an agreed position" for cryptocurrency laws by December 19, as reported by Cryptoslate. The instruction requires the Bank of Russia, Rosfinmonitoring, the Federal Tax Service, and the FSB to collaborate with the Ministry of Finance of Russia to "write federal regulations" that govern crypto issuance, mining, and use for foreign payments.

The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has renewed its warning about all types of cryptocurrencies, citing a number of risks, including high volatility, use in financial crimes, and e-piracy, Egypt Independent reported Tuesday. The ECB also stressed that crypto is not issued or backed by the central bank or any other official authority.

As India is set to experience the new 5G technology which is set to roll out by October. Ahead of the roll-out of the latest technology, Cloud major IBM and Bharti Airtel announced the deployment of the Airtel edge computing platform in India, which will include 120 network data centers across 20 cities.

Apple Inc is planning to use an updated version of Taiwanese chipmaker TSMC's latest chip-producing technology in iPhones and Macbooks next year, the Nikkei Asia newspaper reported on Wednesday. The A17 mobile processor, which is currently under development, will be mass-produced using TSMC's N3E chipmaking tech, expected to be available in the second half of next year, the report said, citing people familiar with the matter.

Russian ambassador to India Denis Alipov on Wednesday said military-technical cooperation between Russia and India is steadily developing based on new requirements. "Our cooperation in this area is steadily progressing in accordance with the new requirements," he told state-run TASS in an interview. "We see in them many opportunities for expanding the practice of joint production and advanced research and development."
