The price is predicted to rise further, gaining up to $1,725.
Ethereum also dropped in value from yesterday's high; with the decline likely to be due to inflationary concerns and uncertainty in China's cryptocurrency market.
Although its continued decline may also be caused by the constant hacking threats with the expansion in the number of digital currencies circulating.
The Ethereum price has been known to form a ramping 1-2-1-2 pattern, meaning this could lead to a volatile price move. A bullish predicted target could be the $1,800 price zone, and potentially a $2,000 barrier. This would then create a space for a 20% rally for traders to get involved in.
