Microsoft has integrated AI algorithms into its Bing and Edge browsers to improve user experience

With the release of ChatGPT the year before, artificial intelligence (AI) has moved to the forefront of current tools and platforms. Microsoft was an early technology adoption, including AI features in the Bing and Edge browsers to improve and simplify the user experience. One such tool is Microsoft Bing's AI image generator, which assists users in creating AI pictures. Bing Image Maker is powered by OpenAI's DALL-E picture generator and uses text prompts to simplify image production.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to utilize Bing Picture Maker for AI image production. Before continuing, readers should be aware that a Microsoft account is required. You should create a Microsoft account if you do not already have one.

Microsoft Edge now has Bing Image Maker. To access the tool, open the Edge browser on your laptop and click on the Bing Picture Maker button in the sidebar. You may also use the feature using Bing chat within Edge. Here's how to use Bing Image Maker.

  •  Step 1:Go to bing.com/images/create.
  • Step 2:Click the Join & Create button.
  • Step 3:You will be requested to sign in to your Microsoft account here. Log in and continue.
  • Step 4:Next, insert a prompt of your choosing. You may also use the Surprise Me option to obtain a prompt from a pre-made list.
  • Step 5:Now press the 'Create' button.
  • Step 6:You may save the created image or copy and paste it as needed.

Depending on the server and prompt, picture generation might take several seconds to several hours. Boost can be used to acquire results rapidly. Another thing to remember is that for every prompt generated, one Boost is depleted. Boosts are the money utilized in Bing Picture Maker to swiftly produce photos. A user receives 25 boosts every week. Using the free Boost, you may purchase more with Microsoft Rewards points. Via the Microsoft Store online, 5,000 points may be redeemed for a $5 Boost.

Microsoft has strict guidelines for the content suggested by Bing AI Image Maker. Users may not request sexually explicit, violent, terroristic, or self-harming photos. Trying to produce such photos violates the content policy and may result in access suspension. When you input a limited prompt, the system immediately blocks the content and consumes no resources.

According to Microsoft's Terms of Service, Picture Maker can only be used for lawful, personal, non-commercial reasons. While created photographs can be shared on social media, they cannot be profited from.
