According to Pragya Misra, the company's Public Policy & Partnerships director in India, Sam Altman-run ChatGPT developer OpenAI is excited to work with developers, users, and policymakers to support India's artificial intelligence (AI) agenda. The company's Public Policy & Partnerships director in India, Pragya Misra, said that OpenAI, the ChatGPT developer led by Sam Altman, is eager to collaborate with developers, users, and legislators to forward India's artificial intelligence (AI) agenda. Misra is OpenAI's first employee in India. She has previously worked with Truecaller, a caller identification business, and WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta.

Judge Richard Jones of the U.S. District Court in Seattle handed down a sentence that was much less than the three years that the prosecution had requested and less than the maximum of one and a half years that was advised by federal guidelines.
