The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange's former CEO, Changpeng Zhao, admitted guilty of breaking American laws against money laundering and was given a four-month jail sentence on Tuesday. Zhao, often known as "CZ," was formerly thought to be the most influential person in the cryptocurrency sector. He is the second prominent cryptocurrency leader to receive a prison sentence. Judge Richard Jones of the U.S. District Court in Seattle handed down a sentence that was much less than the three years that the prosecution had requested and less than the maximum of one and a half years that was advised by federal guidelines.
