In order to provide better personalization features on the music streaming platform, Spotify has introduced a new AI-powered service called DJ. OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, Dallas, and even Microsoft's copilot on the new Bing, is the business behind the service.
The new DJ tool on Spotify can translate specifically picked tunes and can even give daily mixes while it is still in beta. The new functionality is currently only accessible on smartphones (Android and iOS) and is only available to premium members in the US and Canada.
Verify that you have Spotify's most recent update from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Open the app and select the Music option next. You will be able to access the new DJ service from the top of the screen if the function is live in your nation.
As previously indicated, DJ may create a unique playlist, make announcements in its own voice, and provide comments on the songs and playlists. Moreover, users can reord the playlist by just pressing the DJ button.
OpenAI-developed generative AI is supposed to power Spotify's new DJ feature, and the business also collaborates with music editors to create playlists for each genre.
