PwC Lawyers will now have the assistance of Artificial Intelligence to boost productivity

Chatbot Services have been a boon in recent times. To increase productivity, PwC LLP has joined the ranks of professional services companies; PwC introduces Chatbot Service for its Lawyers a chatbot service. The project will be delivered through a 12-month partnership with AI startup Harvey, PwC said in a statement Wednesday. Now PwC Lawyers will have the assistance of Artificial Intelligence.

The chatbot is designed to expedite tasks ranging from regulatory compliance and due diligence to more general legal advice and consultancy services.

The company stated that it intends to increase the service's use for its tax practice.

Businesses from a variety of sectors are testing the promise of generative AI to boost productivity.

The capacity of ChatGPT, an AI chatbot from Microsoft-backed OpenAI, to provide seemingly advanced yet straightforward responses to nearly any type of question helped it become a global hit last year.

According to Carol Stubbings, global tax and legal head at PwC UK, "Harvey's AI solution heralds a fundamental transformation in the way that tax and legal services will be supplied and consumed across the sector.

Built using ChatGPT and OpenAI technology, Harvey is supported by the OpenAI Startup Fund.

The huge language model-based technology is best suited for people who need to produce and evaluate vast amounts of text. Some professional services companies have been experimenting with employing AI to speed up work.

To assist lawyers in drafting contracts and client notes, Allen & Overy has announced a chatbot. Allen & Overy is the first Magic Circle legal firm to do so.
