OpenAI start paying people as much as US$20,000 to find bugs in its AI systems

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, has announced a new bug bounty program in which users who report bugs in the company's artificial intelligence systems, most notably its popular AI chatbot, ChatGPT, will be compensated up to $20,000 or Rs 16 lakh. The Bug Bounty program, which went live on Tuesday, will pay out rewards based on how bad the bugs are, starting at $200 for each vulnerability.

Therefore, the amount of money you earn increases proportionally to the number of dangerous bugs you discover. It is an extraordinary chance for coders and ethical hackers to showcase their abilities and return home with a strong price check.

It is important to take note that the program does exclude inaccurate or malicious content created by OpenAI systems. OpenAI hopes that the Bug Bounty program will help make its artificial intelligence systems more secure and reliable. The current state of ChatGPT's handling of user data is unknown.

Several days after ChatGPT was outlawed in Italy, OpenAI launched its bug bounty program. It was banned in Italy because it was thought to violate privacy laws. As a result, regulators in other European countries have increased their scrutiny of generative AI services.

OpenAI hopes that the Bug Bounty program will assist in resolving any issues and enhancing the performance of its artificial intelligence systems as a whole.

Overall, OpenAI's Bug Bounty program is a good step toward making its artificial intelligence systems more secure and reliable. It is essential to ensure that these systems are secure and free of vulnerabilities given the growing use of AI in various industries.
