Bing Chat is no longer restricted to the Microsoft Edge browser and is to be expanded to more browsers

According to Microsoft, third-party web and mobile browsers will soon allow users to access Bing, driven by artificial intelligence (AI).

The internet giant said on Monday that users would soon be able to use the new AI-powered Bing in third-party browsers on the web and mobile devices. "With so many new, useful features now a part of Bing, we're excited to announce you can start experiencing the new AI-powered Bing in third-party browsers on the web and mobile soon," the company stated.

"This next step in the journey enables Bing to showcase the incredible value of summarised answers, image creation, and more to a wider range of people," the company said.

Users are free to utilize Bing AI in the browser of their choice; however, the firm suggests using Microsoft Edge.

You may access lengthier discussions, chat history, and other Bing capabilities already included in Edge.

In February of this year, the internet giant debuted the AI-powered version of Bing. Since then, the service has created over 750 million photos and over 1 billion discussions. "As excited as we are by the progress from these first six months, we're even more excited by what's to come in the next six months!" the business declared.

Last month, the business introduced a "voice chat" function for Bing Chat on the desktop, enabling users to communicate with the AI chatbot by selecting the microphone icon. The voice chat feature now supports five languages: English, Japanese, French, German, and Mandarin, with support for more languages coming soon.
