IBM- Being The Master of AI Innovation for Years

Sayantani Sanyal

IBM is one of the biggest tech giant companies. IBM is not only changing lives through its innovations, but it is also simplifying several laborious and routine tasks for companies, enabling them to focus on other crucial matters.

IBM's Watson is one of its chief innovations. Companies implementing AI in their business projects are well-acquainted with Watson. Its unique cognitive technology can process data with human-like intelligence, ensuring smart and accurate decision-making. It can easily distinguish between structured and unstructured data to create hypotheses and cut down unnecessary information and yield correct results.

Every year, IBM declares five technologies that will impact the world in the next five years. This year too, in its THINK Event, IBM made a couple of announcements that will drive change and innovation in the next few years.

The company announced a breakthrough in its new Cloud Pak tool that can be used to obtain solutions to complex problems eight times faster. The tool uses an integration that can help eliminate the high cost of moving data and improve AI predictions. The company also announced that the Watson Orchestrate, a new AI facility, can improve the working conditions of professionals as it allows access to pools of data that the company stores.

IBM not only uses AI to ensure productivity in organizations, but it also aims to mitigate environmental issues. In 2020, IBM launched programs to fight global warming by using its innovations to capture carbon dioxide from the environment and transforming it into something useful. The company has launched several initiatives to fight carbon emissions, create environment-friendly batteries and promote sustainability.
