Crime Detective Stories: Losing Essence of Murder Mysteries with AI And ML

Crime detective stories are losing the authentic essence of murder mysteries for AI and ML

AI and ML technologies are thriving in the tech-driven world owing to their smart capabilities of solving complicated problems and automating the whole process in organizations and different industries. Law enforcement police departments have started leveraging major cutting-edge technologies such as AI and many more to solve criminal cases and curb the rate of criminal activities. AI in murder mysteries is helping with minute details and other discoveries that can be invisible in the human naked eyes. But, multiple authors of murder mysteries and private crime detectives are losing the essence of murder mysteries with AI and ML technologies.

Private investigators or crime detective stories are in distress for losing the essence of criminal investigations in the 21st century. Solving murder mysteries with AI does not provide that interest because most of the clues and evidence are being collected by these ML technologies. Authors are well-known for providing interesting murder mysteries that needed to be solved with the grey cells in human brains. It was interesting to catch criminals before the advent of these AI and ML technologies for the police department. Previously, the police department used to contact private crime detectives to look for hidden clues and help in solving those murder mysteries. But in this tech-driven world, private crime detectives do not have such a role due to advanced technologies. The authors want to write about murder mysteries where crime detectives or private investigators can solve complicated cases without getting assistance from modern investigative processes through cutting-edge technologies.

AI and ML technologies have offered smart cell phones, tracking devices, smart forensic laboratories, closed-circuit television high sensor cameras, drones, facial recognition systems, and other modern equipment. The rapid pace of cutting-edge ML technologies has instigated law enforcement departments to seek new and innovative ways to catch criminals and solve murder cases as soon as possible.

This advent of technologies has put authors of crime detective stories on a tight spot in the publishing market. The target audience has been transformed into tech-savvy millennials whose lives depend on smartphones or IoT devices. They are not highly interested in crime detective stories where investigators do not need hi-tech devices to solve crimes. Thus, authors are needed to publish crime detective stories that are related to treacherous online crimes such as data theft, trolling, fake information, and solving crimes with AI and ML technologies. Authors are losing the authentic flavor of murder mysteries to writing about. There are too many shortcuts in these murder mysteries with the use of cutting-edge technologies.

Fiction lovers have many popular private investigators or crime detectives such as Sherlock Holmes, Feluda, Byomkesh Bakshi, Nancy Drew, and many more around the world. The fans love these stories because there is no help from technology. It is always about smartness, intelligence, keen eyes for details, and innocence. But the essence is losing when there is a combination of fictional murder mysteries and murder mysteries with AI. Though crime detectives with ML can help to solve the crimes at a rapid pace, there is a missing flavor in it.
