Google Chrome provides an experimental AI tool dubbed "Help Me Write," which is driven by Gemini language models. It helps users with numerous writing chores, such as creating emails and reviews. Users may enable it in Chrome's settings and customize the AI's recommendations for relevant material.
Google's massive AI drive continues, with the world's most popular browser receiving a completely new function. Google Chrome Introduces a new AI feature that aims to help people write better. This program, dubbed "Help Me Write," uses Google's Gemini language models to aid with a variety of writing tasks, ranging from producing short letters to writing captivating reviews.
Launched with Chrome M122, "Help Me Write" is presently available in English on Macs and Windows PCs in the US. To utilize it, just enable the "Experimental AI" option in Chrome's settings and right-click any text field on a webpage.
"The program will analyze the context of the website you're on and recommend relevant stuff. For example, as an ardent gardener, if I'm writing a review for garden shears, Chrome would pull out relevant facts from the website to back my suggestion, making it more beneficial to other enthusiasts," said Adriana Porter Felt, Google's engineering director.
The AI scans the surrounding pages to determine the intended purpose and tone of your work. Whether you're writing a product description or a restaurant review, "Help Me Write" will provide appropriate suggestions. However, keep in mind that "Help Me Write" is still in the experimental stage. It may not always produce great ideas, so examine and revise its output before clicking publish. Furthermore, it has a limited scope and language availability. It's unclear when the functionality will be available in other locations, as Google has not commented on it.
