After being postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic and being held on a smaller scale in 2022, the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2023 was held this year in Barcelona. Over 80,000 people came to see it, and over 2,000 businesses displayed their wares.

The MWC show floor has been a one-of-a-kind venue for the promotion of industry announcements and thought leadership, as is customary. The first recipient of the GLOMO Lifetime Achievement Award, presented to the pioneers, thought leaders, and innovators of Web 3.0, Martin Cooper, the father of the cell phone, was honored at the event.

Some technologies that will be used by consumers in the coming years were on display at the conference that just finished. AI, the Internet of Things (IoT), the metaverse, robotics, 5G, and web3 are among the tech trends that will be discussed at the MWC 2023. It also contains the 4YFN, or four years from now, which highlights thousands of category-specific startups.

1. Urban XR (UK)

At MWC 2023, Urban XR demonstrated its cutting-edge Visual Positioning Technology (VPS) for delivering this augmented reality experience. It demonstrated how the Internet of Things (IoT) can revolutionize the operation of towns and cities to produce long-term results.

2. La Frontera (Spain)

La Frontera is a Spanish startup that uses the metaverse to offer realistic avatar-based virtual meetings. It is committed to creating environments that are completely tailored to the requirements of the client and is involved in the creation of immersive VR/AR environments geared toward the B2B market. At the MWC 2023, the organization displayed an undertaking that works with drug organizations to show how a medication works at the cell level in the body.

3. 6WIND (France)

6WIND is a company that makes networking software. Its software is used by Service Providers, Cloud Providers, Systems Integrators, Enterprises, and Tier-1 Original Equipment Manufacturers all over the world. It allows customers to replace costly hardware with software and virtualization for routing and security applications.

4. Ceragon Networks (Israel)

This Israeli startup offers wireless backhaul and fronthaul solutions that are creative, adaptable, and affordable. It makes it possible for mobile operators as well as other wired and wireless service providers to provide their customers with 5G and other broadband services. To provide more capacity over longer distances in any deployment scenario, Ceragon Network's high-capacity solutions make use of microwave technology to transfer voice and data traffic while maximizing bandwidth efficiency.

5. Biped.ai (Switzerland)

Biped.ai has developed a smart shoulder-worn AI-powered harness that uses autonomous driving technology to guide blind and partially sighted individuals with 3D sounds, transforming the future of accessibility. It identifies and predicts the trajectories of objects in the environment using 3D cameras so that users can safely navigate the world. Through bone-conducting headphones, the company also provides the wearers with intuitive feedback.

6. XRAI Glass (UK)

XRAI Glass develops augmented reality-based software solutions. The AI chat glass turns audio into pictures. XRAI has integrated the OpenAI chatbot's technology into its app and glasses set up a time when ChatGPT is popular. It can assist people with hearing impairments by allowing them to hear an AI assistant summarize a conversation in which many people were present.

7. GreenWaves Technologies (France)

GreenWaves Technologies is a fabless semiconductor startup developing disruptive GAP9 ultra-low power application processors for image and sound processing and analysis. GreenWaves Technologies was founded in 2009. Its processors are designed for energy-constrained products like IoT, medical monitoring, wearables, and wearables.

8. Innatera (Netherlands)

nnatera is a Dutch semiconductor company that creates ultra-low power processors for applications at the edge of AI. Innatera's chips allow sensor data to be processed 100 times faster and with up to 500 times less energy than with conventional processors by mimicking the mechanisms the brain uses for sensory perception.

It provides a Web3 APIs infrastructure platform that makes it simple and quick for users to develop their preferred blockchain-based Web3 applications.
