On the other hand, India is the fourth-largest producer of AI-related scholarly papers in the world. The advantages of intelligence automation, machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, augmented reality, cybersecurity, and biometrics have increased the interest of Indians, especially, the commercial ecosystem in artificial intelligence.

Previously only considered as an area of research and study, artificial intelligence has opened the door for new venues in the 21st century. One such sector is law enforcement and policing. In the digital world, AI-based police technology is increasingly used to enforce law and order across countries.
